Shakira y la ídolo adolescente Miley Cyrus grabarán una canción a duo que será presentada el próximo 14 de febrero en el marco de una gala benéfica, según informó El Universal de Venezuela.
El sencillo, que llevará por nombre Love & Rock, busca recaudar fondos para niños con cardiopatías severas, y aunque todavía no esté confirmado, se espera que la colombiana y la ex chica Disney graben un videoclip juntas.
Según afirmó el representante de Shakira “esta canción está hecha con fines benéficos y no comerciales”.
Esta sería la segunda gran colaboración de Shakira con una cantante norteamericana. La primera vez fue junto a Beyoncé en el 2007 cuando ambas unieron su poderío vocal y sus insinuantes movimientos de caderas en el hit Beautiful Liar.

Back in August 2011, Miley Cyrus chose a slinky Roberto Cavalli dress for her red carpet appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards. She teamed the grey leopard and floral devore gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a simple up-do.
A few months later, at the end of October, German tennis ace Steffi Graf chose the dress for husband Andre Agassi's Foundation for Education's 16th Grand Slam for Children benefit concert in her adopted hometown of Las Vegas. She kept the accessories even more simple with just a tiny necklace, and went softer with the hair allowing a few curls to fall around her shoulders.
It's perhaps a testament to Cavalli's universal red carpet appeal that his dress was picked by both an 18 year old and a 42 year old for big events, but who pulled it off better? There's no denying they both have the bod to pull off the figure-hugging shape, but who do you think wore it best?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been voted Best Girlfriend-Best Boyfriend of 2011 in an online poll. The couple's victory was hard-won because they had to beat out some stiff competition, including Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and even Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.
 Apparently, Miley Cyrus' online campaign to help her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, win the coveted title of Best Boyfriend of 2011 paid off—not only for Liam but for herself as well.
"Vote for Liam!" Miley urged her Twitter followers. "He's not only the best boyfriend, he is one of the most incredible human beings I've ever known! It's been 2 1/2 years of pure bliss with him! Let's get him the #1 spot!"
Whether Liam reciprocated with similar tweets to his followers about Miley Cyrus is unknown. Although it's common knowledge that the lovebirds are "each really great at being a supportive and doting partner."
Indeed. To win Best Boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth garnered 35% of the votes, leaving not only R-Pattz and the Biebs lying face down in the dust, but Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, and Ryan Gosling as well. His lady-love beat out the above mentioned K-Stew and fellow former Disney darling Selena Gomez plus Nina Dobrev with 45% of the votes.
So, there you have it. Despite her heavily publicized problems and so-called faux pas earlier this year, it looks like 2011 turned out well for Miley Cyrus. Her fans still love her. And so does her boyfriend. Take that, haters.
